SAUDI ARAMCO TOTAL Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP) recognizes that the disciplines of Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality (HSSEQ) are integral parts of its core management functions, so SATORP is committed to conduct all its operations in a manner that safeguards the Health, Safety, Security of its employees, contractors, visitors and the neighboring community in order to ensuring that all SATORP occupants are working in secured environment and performing their duties with high Quality by means of the best practices and technologies taking in consideration the protection of the natural Environment in which we live and work.

SATORP will:
   Comply with all HSSEQ applicable national and international standards that are used in the      field of oil and gas industry and use the best industry practices;
   Implement HSSEQ Management Systems;
   Aware all employees and contractors, of their HSSEQ responsibilities;
   Ensure that employees are trained and competent to perform their assigned jobs with the best      available technology in the refining industries according HSSEQ rules.
   Prepare for all emergencies and train employees on contingency plans enabling effective      response to any HSSEQ undesirable event;
   Report, investigate and analyze all HSSEQ incidents to prevent recurrence;
   Select industrial and business partners based on their ability to comply with the policies of
     SATORP;
  Communicate and promote HSSEQ issues to all employees and contractors in a positive way;
   Continually review and assess the performance of the HSSEQ Management Systems and systematically apply improvements.
