It is a great pleasure and honor to serve SATORP as its President & CEO.
SATORP is a golden opportunity to build a world class company, deploying latest technologies and best practices. It draws strength from two shareholders who are world leaders in the oil industry. Our vision to be the leader in the Middle East and Asia is setting the right target for us.
Fantastic efforts have already been exerted towards reaching that target, however, we are still at the early stages and much more effort is required. The foundation for building SATORP rests on having a qualified workforce, fully equipped with necessary training and development.
SATORP is building a corporate culture based on fairness, trust, respect and professionalism as fundamental ingredients for success. To create a culture that encourages open communication and creativity; a place where everybody welcomes positive change and seeks improvement all the time. Collaboration, cooperation and strong team spirit are the bonds which focus us on achieving our target. SATORP culture must encourage and reward hard work and achievements, a culture that respects diversity of opinions and experience.
Building the refinery safely on schedule and within the budget while maintaining high quality at all stages is of utmost importance. Providing the required resources and support to that effort is absolutely necessary to achieve our vision.
I am confident that our goals are very much within our reach and will be achieved.
