PMT’s 2011 Soccer Tournament has finally come to an end. On this occasion, a ceremony was held on May 30, 2011 at the Jubail site to award the winners. The champions of this year’s tournament are the security team with Package 5B as first runner-up and Contracting & Constructions Enterprise (CCE) in the third place.

The prizes were distributed by Satorp’s President & CEO, Fawwaz Nawwab who impressed was with the enthusiasm of the players and their sportsmanship.

The tournament which took place during the months of April and May witnessed a total of fifty-six intense matches between eight competitive teams who scored a total of 137 goals. Although feeling burned out after a long day at work, the players were impassioned and played with great enthusiasm. Spectators were drawn as the thrill of the matches grew.

The entire tournament was organized by volunteers from different departments and contractors headed by Senior Project Engineer, Salah Nuaimi from PTF&OF and supported by Execution Director, Mohammed Hammad.

The intention of these matches was to create a relaxed atmosphere free of the tensions of work. The organization process was very demanding, especially when it comes to receiving the right people for refereeing and also locating the right facilities and equipments. In spite of that and with team building spirit the tournament proved to be yet another success for Satorp.
